I am officially moved in.

Hey guys, I figured I better give everyone an update. I officially moved into my house in twin on monday and I've been here with the girls this week. Its been a blast so far. I'm pretty sure we have a ghost in our house that keeps knocking things down. He knocked the attic cover from the ceiling and kept turning the garage light on, he knocked our whiteboard off the wall, and I'm pretty sure he keeps pausing my Ipod when I have it playing in the front room. He's pretty nice other than his occasional temper tantrums. haha I think he hid my flip flops from me the other day. I'm still working on finding a job. There are only a few things that need fixed in the house. Everything is going well! I think we are going to go swimming at Deirkies someday soon. I"ll have to post pictures sometime soon. :) I'm doing pretty great! I am going to come home on friday or saturday, so I'll see some of you soon.

My New House!

This is our house! I hope this video works! haha Its kind of small but its pretty nice for a first home. Do all dishwashers sound like a plane coming in for landing? Cause ours does... its pretty loud. hahah Maybe its just because we were all trying to sleep in the living room and the dishwasher was going. We have our washer and dryer hooked up and I got a shower curtain and mat for the bathroom and everything works pretty well!

After we moved everything in and all the parents and siblings left, it was so quiet that we had to put on some music! It was the weirdest thing and it kinda freaked me out. haha I'm pretty scared about moving but I'm excited too. I go back and forth alot. Its just something new and a big change and I've never dealt well with change, but I'm learning to! :) our first meal was little ceasar's pizza.. I think that it is going to be a frequent meal, but thats alright with me because I love it. haha my roommates, Shae and Dakota, were making fun of me because I brought an apron. I thought they were laughing at me because I put it in a dumb place and I said, "Yea yea yea, I just didnt know where else to put it for now!" and Dakota told me (between laughs), "No, I dont think you get it. We're not laughing at where you put it, we're laughing cause you brought an apron at all!!!" We've got all the essentials, its just bringing all the small stuff up thats left :) So if any of you are ever in twin, you're going to have to come visit me, at least for a couple of minutes because the company will be welcome!!! :)

Crazy

Hey guys! This blog was getting boring so I thought I'd update you all on your favorite subject... me. ;) haha School is going good. So close to being done with it! I just had a piano recital and I did pretty good. :) So did Maddy. I started INSANITY on monday and I'm doing the program just like Tyson and Carrie. It is one of the toughest workouts I've ever done and I love it so much! Prom is coming up and I havent been asked yet but if I do get asked I have a dress all picked out already! haha My truck is still running good since Callin and I with the help of a bunch of awesome people installed the new engine. new window

The guys got our new window installed last week-----guess what-----it is defective!!! I was sanding the trim, getting ready to stain, etc. Now I have put my frontroom back in order, the wall around the window looks like crap, & the whole thing needs stained but it will all wait until we find out what they are going to do about the window being manufactured wrong! The north slider window hangs 3/8 of an inch lower on one side because the one leg is longer than the other. How's that for crap??? The guys made sure it was all level but the problem lies in the one leg being longer so they didn't notice that the inside window was hanging there goofy. Just thought you all would appreciate an update on our window! The other took so long to order that I'm not holding my breath for any short term miracle here. Dad & Mandy have about got our work-room done on the inside. I don't know what dad would have done without Mandys' help! We sure appreciate her coming dowm & working with him on that!! It will sure be nice to have a place to work on our projects!! Uncle Garys' funeral was yesterday---I got to see cousins I haven't seen for years. That was interesting. I had never met most of their kids. I even saw a couple of dads' uncles that I thought were dead. They were close but still upright! One of the musical numbers was a recording of Elvis Presley----you all know how I hate to listen to Elvis---he ranks right up there with Willie Nelson for me! Needless to say---it was interesting! I was grateful that the girls all made it over to the viewing!! Love you all! Take care!

sooo dirty. WHY WAS THIS SO DIFFICULT?! So much hard work for such a little thing. yup.. we had to take the tire off. haha My truck just decided to stop working while I was at the 4 corners in Paul on Saturday and I had to call my parents to come rescue me. James Martinez lives just down the road and recommended changing the fuel filter. So this was our little adventure. My dad told me what to do (and occasionally had to do it for me or help me) The bolts ON the filter are called banjo bolts. haha I thought it was a very creative name. :) Well I really enjoy doing stuff like this and I had fun dismounting the filter, and I will change it tomorrow! Happy Halloween everyone!!! Hope the kids all have a goolish time! Dad & I just got home!! We left Jer & Robyn's around 8:00 this morning. We went thru Jackson Hole----saw some beautiful scenery----had some delays due to construction & even took a wrong turn that took us 20 miles out of our way!! We have had a great & memorable week & are very grateful to Josh & Natalie and to Jeramy & Robyn for having us in their homes!! Thank you!! We enjoyed getting to visit & to see the great areas you both live in!! Hopefully, it will all work out (the weather co-operates!!) for everyone to make it home for Thanksgiving!! We will be having dinner around 1:00 down at the firehall!!! This should give us more room so we can all eat more!! Love to all of you!!!!!!!

Callahan's Birthday

Hi, I just wanted to let everybody know our plans for Callahan's birthday. We will be out at the cemetery at 6:30 pm on Friday, to let off balloons. I know not everyone can make it with us, but if you could take a minute wherever you are and let off some balloons in honor of our son's birthday, we would appreciate. Okay. This is what we are having for dinner today. Smells SO good. So easy! and very, very yummy and all my kids love it, which is surprising. haha. thought I would share. Hope you enjoy! I just use dried onions, grated cheese, no celery, and no fresh parsley. Kinda plain, whatever. We love it!

Cheesy Potato Soup II

	Prep Time: 20 Minutes	Ready In: 50 Minutes
	Cook Time: 30 Minutes	Servings: 9

"Onions and celery sauteed in butter, cooked potatoes and processed cheese are combined in this creamy soup made with processed cheese and thickened with flour."

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 1/2 cups chopped onions 1 1/2 cups chopped celery 4 cups water 8 potatoes, peeled and cubed

15 slices American cheese - broken into pieces 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 1/3 cups milk 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

1.	Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Saute the onions and celery in the butter for 5 to 10 minutes, or until tender.
2.	Stir in the water and potatoes, bring to a boil and then simmer until the potatoes are tender. Add the cheese and stir until melted.
3.	In a separate small bowl, combine the flour and the milk and stir well until the flour is mostly dissolved. Pour this into the soup slowly, stirring constantly, until soup has thickened, about 5 minutes. Garnish with the parsley. Enjoy!
