Greetings from mom!

Dad and I got home from Salt Lake on Thursday evening. While we were there we went to the Joseph Smith film at the JS Memorial Building. It was very touching and helps us to realize all the trials that Prophet Joseph Smith went thru and also the trials of the early saints. I have to ask myself if I could have been strong enough to survive the ordeals that they went thru and I come up short I'm afraid. They were definitely strong and committed. Dad and I went to the temple on Thursday morning and were asked to be the witness couple! What a privelage that was and what a delight to attend a live session! It has been a number of years since we have been to one. It was wonderful! While we were in SL we stayed at the Grand America Hotel. What a grand place that is! I have never in my lifetime stayed in such a nice place! They turned our bed down everynight and laid out robes on our beds and also put chocolate on our beds every night! The bathroom had a separate dressing area. The fixtures in the bathroom were all gold and the shower was glass. They had bubble bath and when I used it the bath water came out fast and beat those bubbles into huge frothy mountains of bubbles. It was awesome!! After we got home Thursday evening grandpa mowed his lawns, then went to work on Friday and after he got off work we went to Pocatello to help Jer and Robyn move to Morgan. We got home late Sat. night and went to bed and died. Dad slept until 10:30 then we went to Sacrament meeting, came home and took a nap! We must be getting old! We talked to Josh on Sun. and he is doing great. He has a wonderful, upbeat attitude and is looking forward to fast-roping next week. That is where they come out of the helicopters down a rope to land in a place. He said there are a few broken ankles when they do this drill. Remember him in your prayers---he doesn't need anything broken! The heat there has been awful but he has done okay. I didn't mention that Jer and Robyn's new home is lovely and Morgan is a nice little town--hope you can go visit! Now they need to sell their home in Chubbuck!!!! We are doing good!! Our garden is delicious! Love you! MOM
