Darby's Results

Darby did so great, and she had so much fun! She got 2nd place on all 3 of her dances. She got a trophy and 2 silver metals that she is very proud of! We will get the videos posted soon. Thanks to Robyn, Jer and the family for driving down to watch her. She loved knowing she had "fans." It was a whole new experience and like no dance competition I've ever been to. A mom was telling us about how school dresses (all of the girls from the same school have a dress that looks the same) are cheap at around $800.00. Solo dresses is where it gets expensive with dresses from top names selling for $4,500.00! I am glad our teacher is very budget aware! Darby had cute hair, and it was a big hit. Everywhere we went people asked about it and even took pictures. When I would check on her backstage, she told me, "Mom, people keep taking pictures of my hair! They are so strange." Thank you for thinking of Darby, but I think when it came right down to it, I was more nervous than she was! She had no problem dancing all by herself, because 2 of the 3 dances she did, the other little girl stopped dancing, and Darby kept on going. Callin and I are so proud of her and glad all of her hard work paid off.

Darby's First Feisana

This weekend Darby has her first feisana. (It is pronounced feshanna.) That is what the Irish Dance competitions are called. The girls all do their dances either in groups of two, three, or all alone. If they get to dance with someone else, there is no guarantee that they have been taught the same steps, so they really have to know their dances. The plan is for Darby to do 3 dances, and they are very traditional. She has practiced so much! She is really doing great. I am so impressed with how well she does. She is the youngest student with her teacher, but she jumps just as high as the big girls, if not higher! She always did have springs for legs. So, we will be in Salt Lake on Saturday! The feis starts at 9 and Darby should be in the first part. We aren't real sure how these things work yet, it is our first too! She will do great, but it never hurts to have our giant support system behind you, so keep her in your thoughts please!

RAINBOWS!!!

Check out these awsome rainbows from saturday!!! They are huge!!!! There were two of them!!! Ryan took a whole bunch of pics. I only took like 4 or 5 pics. But it was amazing!!!! We took some funny pics and normal pics. HAHA!!! I FOUND THE POT OF GOLD!!! AWSOME!!!! outfront.

Hey everyone! I haven't posted for a long time so I thought I had better make some sort of announcement or another:). I'm doing pretty good. Today I went to sacrament meeting and my name was IN THE PROGRAM... I knew I had signed up for a talk but I never got the letter. THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME! I am not even kidding by that either, it has happened to me 3 times! But no matter how many times we ask them to correct our adress the letter never comes. I didnt get a phone call or anything. They must really want Megan to speak though because they usually hand hers to her after sacrament the week before. haha It has also happened to Mom before too! Other than my sob story :) life is going good. I am taking an online class over the summer and it is going well too! :) I haven't started cheer yet so I am trying to keep in shape by myself heh heh. I also have started the summer classes at gymnastics, but as a teacher not a student which keeps me in pretty good shape also even as a teacher! :). I have also started playing the piano again after all the scarring memories of my previous piano teacher haha just kidding but I haven't played for a long time because I remember it being terribly boring because everything had to be perfect with my teacher. :). But with Mom's help I started again and I think it is a blast! haha I am doing pretty well if I may say so myself! heh I am teaching myself the song superman because ever since I heard my mom play it I wanted to play it(: I am pretty determined! HalfWay There!!!!!!

You all know that the beginning of my pregnancy was rough and I lost some weight. Well, I'm here to tell ya, that I have found it! We are amazed how fast my belly has started growing. A couple weeks ago Josh woke up and said "wow, where did that come from" lolol it's like I just popped out over night and it hasn't quit. I have accepted that fact that I'm going to get huge!!!!!! The funny thing is I'm still not eating a lot I'm just getting big. Oh well, it will all be worth it!

The Limo ride and the Broken Arm

One week after Sakoya went to Cydney's house and and broke her arm she got to go with Cydney for a girls day out. Cyd and her sisters all got good grades for the year so they got to have a limo ride for the afternoon. Here is a picture with the limo and also a picture where you can see Koya's new look with bangs and the other accessory the summer cast. Who would have guessed that she would pick BLUE.

NO SHOW!!!!!

Well, this baby is stubborn just like it's parents!!!! As soon as the Doctor put the stick to my belly he sighed and said it is bottom up so it may be hard to see the sex. He tried and tried and he just couldn't get it. I go back in 4 weeks so hopefully it will cooperate a little more. It is growing exactly how it should be I don't think he told me the weight but it is about 7 in long and it's head is 2 inch wide. We saw the brain, the femur, one of the little feet, it was so cute, and the stomach. I tell you what though it is an active little thing! It just moves and swings its arms and legs just not wide open! lolol The heart rate today was 124. I thought that was crazy that in 5 weeks it dropped so much but he said it was normal. I know this pic isn't much different than the last but I thought I would put it up anyway! It is 18 weeks and 2 days.

So what's your new title/rank whatever you're called now? Inquiring minds wanna know. . .

More Money!!!!

Last week Josh's team sergeant told him he would be going to the promotion board on June 2nd. Well, in order to prepare for the board you need at least a month or so cause you have to memorize a lot of stuff and study a lot. The book is like 3 inches thick. Anyway Josh has been really busy preparing for his upcoming trip to Hungry so he hasn't really had time to study so we really wasn't sure what would happen today, but he got promoted!!! I am so proud of him!

Prayers Needed

My Aunt Roseann is still in the Surgical ICU and had to be rushed into emergency surgery Sunday morning. She has to have another surgery Tuesday due to all the complications. Please remember in her in your prayers then next couple days, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Robyn
