Hikeing to waterfall

This is on the rim before our descent into the cany0n. This is Box Canyon and it is the 11th largest spring in the US. It is surrounded by farm fields and is in the middle of nowhere.
Here is the 20ft waterfall. It is much bigger than it appears here.
Mandy took this picture of all of us posing in front of the waterfall. You could see tons of fish and there is alot of water.
This is Masons newest friend. He really wanted to catch a Crawdad so we caught to. No animals were injured in the taking of this pic.

Hey i knew a few people were asking about my trip to Boise so here you all go. Me and my friend McKenna spent the night at Shirley and Marty's beautiful home! That morning we went to the YMCA and worked out for a little then we went back and got ready for the day and Marty made the most delicious birthday breakfast I have had in years! Then we headed for BSU Campus. We got there and they told us our first meeting was on the other side of campus. It was a little windy but otherwise it was nice weather so we walked over there and I was able to talk to the director of the radiological program that I would really like to get into. I got alot of my questions answered After that meeting we walked the green belt over to the dorms. My next meeting was with a lady from the honors college. So we talked with her and she showed us the honors college housing. It was nice but I don't think the honors college is what I am supposed to get into. The last thing planned with the college was the official tour. They took us all over campus we got to see Chaffee dorms and the Rec building which is very nice! And we got to touch the smurf turf lol! When the tour was all over we decided we were starving but had no idea where to eat. And one of my friends that graduated a year before me is at BSU and we ran into him so we went out to sonic and had a late lunch. Then I wanted to see what Taylor building was like (that is where he lives) so i got to see Taylor and meet his roommates and some of his friends. Then one of his roommates (a cute one I might add) his name is Peter said that him, me ,McKenna, and Casey (thats my friend) should go play a game of pool in the SUB building. It turned out to be more than one game and we had a blast! Me and McKenna left and headed to the mall for a little while then went home! I am so excited to move to Boise. While I was there I knew that is where I was supposed to go for school! The campus is beautiful! They have a great team lol what more can you want?? Just kidding lol. But I am very excited for that. Well I love you all! ~Megan

hApPy BiRtHdAy!!!

We just wanted to wish our oldest a very happy 18th!!! These last 6 years - since becoming a teenager have been okay. We've dealt with it. BUT, having an 18-year-old? I'm having a really hard time wrapping my mind around it. Where has all the time gone???!!!! I guess she's not moving out and leaving tomorrow...but STILL! We just depend on her SO much and count on her level-headedness and calming personality. I value the friendship Wes and I have with her. Most of this last week I've spend the time bobbling my head back and forth wondering what the heck I should do with an 18-year-old and how I got here. HaPpY bIrThDaY, mEg!!! We love you lots! Thanks for being you. I know a lot of people look up to you!!!

Update

Sorry i haven't had the time or desire to sit down and write what is going on in my life so..... I have been accepted to BSU and that is where I am going and I am very excited about it! I am going up there this Thursday and staying with my aunt Shirley and checking out campus on Friday the day I am officially an adult whoo!! (You all should feel very old mwahaha). Anyway I also am a certified Phlebotomist as of this past Saturday so I will start looking for a job in the hospital soon. I think I will be able to start out at Boise as a sophomore because of the college credits I have taken. Me and my parents have orientation June 30 thru July 1 and that is when I register for classes and all that jazz. I move up there around August 20 and classes start August 23. So much change is coming into my life and I am so excited for it!! I am very excited for meeting new people seeing new places and everything! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Darby's school has decided to celebrate the birth of Dr. Seuss. It just so happens that this day of celebration also falls on the same day as the Carnival. The Carnival is themed Under the Sea. Because of these two celebrations falling on the same day, some of the mothers decided some unruliness could get by "under the radar." So they came up with the plan of having our girls dress up as Thing 1, Thing 2, and an honorary Thing 3. The outfits will be complete with red clothing and blue hair. I have a perfectly good blue wig I was planning on using, but Darby came home from school on Thursday with a grocery bag with a blue shower cap, and some blue Easter grass. (I seriously detest Easter grass!) I called one of the other mothers, and she wasn't really sure what to do with the blasted stuff either. Darby wanted to glue it onto the shower cap, but I knew hot glue would only melt it, and any other glue would never dry in time. So I started sewing. One nasty piece of grass at a time. I talked to mom, and she wondered what would happen if I put it through my sewing machine. We decided the worst that could happen would be gunking up my sewing machine, but I figured it would be okay. This dang "head of hair" took me 3 hours. I hope she likes it. I am certain it will look better on her as well, with the full outfit of course. This all remains to be seen, in the morning, before the bus. The things we do for our children. Kristen
