darby's dance

we also went and cut down a christmas tree. kobe had so much fun she had to nap on the front of the bike, and the poor little tree stood no chance to the furry of the saw. it was a fun day.

Dachau Concentration Camp

Today we went down to Munich to the Dachau Concentration Camp. It was an amazing experience. I can't even begin to imagine what those people went through. The memorial site is so creepy. There is a certain silence there that just lets you know something bad happened. I'm not good enough with words to even try to describe how this place made me feel so I will just let the pictures do the talking. The gate going in to the camp says Work Brings Freedom This is the prison building These are some of the items in the museum This is a picture taken from a U.S. airplane of the Jews welcoming the U.S. troops! This is a model of Dachau and a plate from the camp that they served food in these are the beds and the bathrooms in the barracks After the bodies were burned they put all the ashes here and named it the grave of the thousands unknown

My fist cheese ball

Tonight we went to my friends house for a Christmas party. I absolutely love the girls I work with. I decided I would try to make a cheese ball so I got online and looked up recipes. I found one that sounded good and I loved that it looked liked a gift so I decided to try to make it. I think it turned out really good and everyone at the party loved it and said it was really good. So I'm showing off my first cheese ball :) Last week during recess we went out and took pictures of the class and let them play in the snow. They had so much fun! Sydnee wanted a picture of just me and her. She is so sweet.

A family in the ward invited us to a FHE Christmas party on Monday Night. We ate some dinner, told the nativity story the when we were singing some Christmas songs, guess who showed up. After everyone had a chance to talk to Santa they took a family picture. Denali sat on his lap but was very shy and hardly said a word without some prompting.

Sakoya and Saige were okay with it but not totally into, they both requested Ipods for Christmas.

Derringer told Santa he wanted a truck like his dad's for Christmas.

Wynter loved him and sat on his lap, I don't think I have ever had one this little who actually sat on Santa's lap without screaming.

Needless to say it was a great night for all of us and we hope that we get invited back next year!!

ok guys so i know this is ridiculously hard but when the movie is not going i am the only one you can see on the far right hand side and then i move to the left... and back again you cant see me for a minute because i am behind a basket toss... but ummm if you live close enough i will show you but if not then i think i will have to circle myself or something haha ttyl bye!

Sledding!!!!!!

We bought a sled a few weeks ago but today was the first day we used it. It snowed all week and it was so beautiful but Josh was gone so I didn't get to play in it until today. We had a lot of fun. I love it over here! Except for the fact that my husband is gone all the time, but like he reminds me everyday, I knew what I was getting in to! He is leaving again tomorrow so I will have another lonely week but I am thankful he got to spend the day at home today.
