Last week I got a call from the school telling me that Sakoya had been voted as a Freshman Attendent for Homecoming. I did not realize at that time that there was only one in the whole freshman class. When she got home I told her and her first reaction was somewhere along the lines of, " No, No way, do I have to get up in front of the whole school, how embrassing, I can't do it, ect." Needless to say was a crazy busy week. She borrowed a cute dress from a friend, to which we added a jacket and she looked beautiful. Here is a picture from the assembly, the boy's name was Hoyt. Never met him but seems like a nice kid! During the freshman skit, the attendents had to sit in front of their classes in chairs.

Homecoming parade. Sakoya was so funny, she said the freshman got to choose their car last, and she got the one that she wanted. Of course, it was the blue one!

This was on Saturday night before the dance, we are next door at the neighbors, of course Saige, Denali and Ashley (another neighbor who we have adopted) had to get in on the action.

Homecoming

I just wanted to share some pictures of how I got asked to Homecoming and how I answered him back. I saw these on my way to school the other day (and heard about it all day long! :) haha)They were along the side of the road right by the school. :) So I answered him back with a T-shirt... I used Washable and permanent markers... I wrote a bunch of signs saying no in washable marker and I wrote one big YES! in permanent marker! :) Needless to say, I am going to Homecoming with David Borden! We are also Homecoming Royalty Nominees! We have to make a video or a power point of us with pictures and we will show it in the Queen's assembly. We have to include like 3 themes to get points and then the nominees are narrowed down to 3 couples according to our video points and then the students vote between those 3! Fun stuff! haha I kinda cant wait till it's all over because, like my mother I am really good at making little things into these HUGE STRESSFUL things. haha :) I'll try to put the video up when we get it done Love, Kala

Damon and Meg and the cousins... Ryan sporting his AwEsOmE tie! They are such a cute couple. Meg and her daddy! Lovin the big sis! Megan and I. We are so proud of her! Our family with our new addition! Man! We make quite a large group, just to think - this isn't everyone! It was a very beautiful day, and yet one of the hardest things I have ever done! I am happy for them. but hate change, always have! Thank you so much for your love and support through all of this. We SO appreciate it. I have an awesome family and we thank you for all your sacrifices to help us...get "through" this. hahaha! just kidding. Thanks all the same! Love everyone!!!

Just lettin you know...

Well, I dont know about you, but I have checked this blog a bajillion times and nothing has changed for forever! hahah so I thought I would share a couple of things with you guys. First of all, This picture: Llama shrubbery anyone? :) haha I saw this on the way to Kristen and Callin's house and I just had to get a picture. haha Second of all:We saw this lovely lady at Costco. She is stylin. I bet this is what Sandy Nelson's mom looks like. :) The platform shoes just finish off this look. This is the case for my glasses...And My garden is doing awesome! :) I HAVE A WATERMELON VINE! :D I had to work the scone booth at the fair on Tuesday with the people in my ward and when I got home I took my hair out of a ponytail and it was insane how strong the smell of scones was stuck in my hair! I had to wash my face twice because it felt so greasy. I had fun though! Meg's Bridal shower was fun and she got some pretty fancy stuff. ;) haha Other than that, my life hasnt been to exciting! I want to hear from everyone else though! Kala

Dates!

Alright I have been slacking and I know some people wanted to know dates. So we have figured out dates for the big stuff. I will be going to the Twin Falls Temple to receive my endowments on Tuesday August 16th at 7:00 p.m. My friend Tory and I will be going to the temple to get our endowments together seeing as she is getting married the next day! I am excited, that will be really cool! Then on Saturday August 20th at 9:00 a.m. Damon and I will be sealed together for time and all eternity in the Twin Falls temple! The reception will be later that night. You are all welcome to come. (I will be sending out announcements about a month or so before) If you can't it's no big deal I totally understand! Love you all!!

I'm Engaged!!

Well as some of you know Damon is no longer my boyfriend but my fiancé!! Or my f word as my mother describes him. She had some problems accepting Damon as my boyfriend so she called him my special friend and now he is my f word because I don't think she can say the word fiancé yet.

Damon asked me Saturday night. We were hanging out at his house with his brother and nephew before they left. Then we decided to take the dogs for a walk. So we drove out to his farm and got out the four wheeler and rode around while the dogs ran along side of us. When it started getting later we were driving around some of their fields. We were in the middle of one of his wheat fields, it was beautiful, the sun was setting and we were sitting out in the middle of this field. He got off the four wheeler, got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and asked me to be his wife!! And of course I said yes!!! :D

He picked out the ring and did an amazing job!
