Kristen, Callin, Darby, and Jacoby, we are all so sorry for the loss of your brother and son, Callahan. We all love you so very much. I am honored to sing I Am A Child Of God at Callahan's funeral. Once again, we love you. You are in our prayers.

“I’ll lend you for a little time a child of mine.” He said, “For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he’s dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty two or three. But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me? He’ll bring his charm to gladden you, and should his stay be brief, You’ll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief. “I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return. But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn. I’ve looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true. And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes I have selected you. Now will you give him all you love, not think the labor vain, Nor hate me when I come to call to take him back again? I fancied that I heard them say, “Dear Lord, thy will be done!” For all the joy thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we run. “We’ll shelter him with tenderness, we’ll love him while we may. And for the happiness we’ve known, forever grateful stay. But should the angels call for him much sooner than we’ve planned, We’ll brave the grief that comes and try to understand.” -Edgar A Guest

Hey all y'alls!
I am so glad mom and dad are back! I think it's way awesome that mom and dad and Tys were able to go to Germany, even if I had to trust R.J. to cook my Thanksgiving turkey! (wasn't half bad either!) If I could have arranged it, I would have been right there with em in Germany! Oh well! Next Thanksgiving! LOL! As usual it's a circus here. Never a dull moment. Hope everything's going well for everyone else.

Germany
Hey everybody! we made it safely home from Germany!! It was a great trip! Thank you Josh, Natalie & Jack for putting up with us. We had so much fun with you & hope it's not too quiet for you at your house right now. (I know you are enjoying some peace & quiet after our invasion). We think Germany is a great place to visit & would definitely recommend it for everyone. I guess the bad part is sitting on the plane for all those hours with the liquid all draining into your ankles. Yeah----just call me kankles!! We were happy to find that our tire had held air & it actually got us home!! Thank you Jer & Robyn for the rescue on the extra tire!! we are grateful to have had it in case we needed it. We just didn't trust that other rim all that much. The tire gave Randy something to worry about while we were there. When he thought of the whole transfer the extra tire thing on Sun. it lifted a big worry off him. The wheather was beautiful almost the whole time we were there. Even when it rained the last 2 days it wasn't terribly cold. Just for your info Josh & Natalie, it is awfully cold here!! Crispy cold! Tyson is freezing. Randy came down with the crud on the way home yesterday so he is still in bed. He said he could feel it coming on yesterday before we left so he didn't get close to Jack. Hope he didn't leave any germs hangin around there! I had a Z pack I didn't use a couple of months ago so he started on that when we got home. Hopefully it will knock it out fast!! Hugs & Kisses to everyone!! I love you all, no matter where you live!! It is nice to be home.

Hey Everyone!
This is day date. First we went to the mall and split up into guys and girls and each group prior to the date made a list of things to find for the other group. A few of the things the girls had to do was all six of us had to fit into the small picture booth and get some pictures then we had to sing YMCA and I'm a little tea pot in the middle of the food court (we got some rather funny looks. We also had to find random things in the stores. After our time limit was up we all met back together and we loaded up and found Girtie's and ate it was great! After that we went to skateland for a bit. And finally took them home to get ready.

Germany!!!
We made it safely to Germany! (Our plane stayed in the air & everything!) I can tell you now that the hours flying were a bit rough on us! We arrived okay, but were exhausted! We arrived at 8:50 their time, we had been up since 6:00 our time. You do the math cause my brain doesn't want to work much today!! Our flights were on time and everything went well. When we arrived here the day was gray and damp, but the sun eventually came out and it was actually quite pleasant. A bit chilly out but the wind isn't blowing cold blasts of air into us like it was at home. A BIG Happy Birthday yesterday Denali (& Ernie also, but I know she won't see this). How did you celebrate?? Did mom & dad have a great night out with their supper & concert? Do you feel any older? Love you & hope you had a great birthday!! Anyway, after a great night's sleep we are up & at 'em this morning! Jack is way cute and looks just like the last picture on the blog! Give Grandma Draper a call & tell her all is well here & we will talk to her tomorrow. Love you all!! And be good while we are away!

SMOKING- By Madison Lindsay- Smoking is very bad for you. It can cause very bad things to your body, such as lung cancer, mouth cancer, or throat cancer. Today, November 4th, 2009, Wednesday, Lori, the School Nurse, came in the 4th grade and told us how bad smoking is for your body. I thought it was very interesting. Others thought it was very boring. She told us that “I never want to see you smoking.” She also said, “If you smoke, your lungs get all black, and bumpy, and weird and you can’t breathe as well.” She showed us a cardboard girl with one unhealthy lung and one healthy lung. It had a pump so she pumped it and it was like the girl was breathing. The healthy lung did it fine, but the unhealthy lung took longer and it looked as if it held some of the air pumped into it inside. That’s because it did. She told more interesting facts about the lungs. She had two boxes that used to have cigarettes in it – hopefully she threw them away! She said most of the cigarettes were about $4.90. She asked, “How many of you would rather buy candy or games or something else?” Guess what? ALL OF US RAISED OUR HANDS!! After that, we moved on and talked about second-hand smoking. She told us that if we are in a room with somebody else smoking, then we can breathe it in too. It might not be as bad as the person smoking, but it still is bad for you. That is why some people smoke outside. Next, we moved on to a big box. Lori unfolded the flaps and pulled out a big jar. Inside the jar were real lungs. I thought it was gross, but still interesting. They were black, and they had stitches. Lori said it was from a real person’s body. She said the guy who owned them died a decade ago of lung cancer and he donated his body to science. She told more facts about the man’s lungs. She told us some ingredients to the cigarettes too, but not all 400! One of them was COW FARTS! I know, it’s gross! And also hydrogen peroxide, and nicotine. Nicotine is very addicting. I do not know if it is a powder or a liquid. I think all of these facts are very interesting and the information is good to know. I will never, ever in my life, smoke or do drugs. I hope a lot of other people will make this promise too. Please, never smoke.

So we have been home a week now and finally getting into a routine. Jack is amazing. He sleeps pretty much all night in his pack-n-play and only wakes up twice to eat. He pretty much sleeps all the time. I know I shouldn't complain but I love it when he is awake because he is so alert and loves looking around and I love to just watch him. lolol I love this first picture cause he totally has Josh's "stare"

We are home
It feels so good to be home! It has been a rough week since Josh couldn't stay at the hospital over night and our little man likes to get wide eyed at 12:30 every night! Then he likes to cry the rest of it! lolol We are getting that under control though. Please keep us in your prays, especially ME!! lolol A girl I worked with at the school found out she was pregnant the same time I did and our due dats were like a week apart but they induced her early cause they kept telling her that the baby was big. Anyway, She delivered 7 hrs after me and we were roomies. It was really nice. This is a picture of Ashlynn and Jack.

2 weeks old
Okay, I know we are being somewhat reclusive, but with all the nasty germs going around, I'm sure you all understand! I thought I would post some pictures so you can see Callahan. And the girls with their Halloween costumes and pumpkins that they carved. Darby had the parade at school and she loved it! Maddie was cute too, but I missed Zach! Enjoy!

Hello, All Yall I haven't posted in a long long time. So, don't anyone go into shock or anything. I don't want to be held responsible for any doctor bills. My family is doing great, none of us are in jail or the hospital or anything like that. The kids might think that school is like jail, but they will survive. For the last week I have been in Silver Spring, MD, at the National Labor College for new officer training. I am the Financial Secretary of our local union. I got some really good info out of it that will help me with my job. They kept us busy from 9am to 9 pm every day, with an hour and a half for lunch and dinner. They gave us Wednesday evening off, so some of us rented a shuttle bus and went in to Washington DC to some of the memorials. It was pretty cool. All in all, it was a good week. The only thing that would have made it better is if my family was with me. This was my first time flying and it was pretty cool. Well here is some pictures.

Prayers, please!
Yay! Minico won Twin Falls! 14 to 13! CLOSE! Kala did 15 back handsprings in a row! AWESOME! Yay Kala! PRAYERS PLEASE! Meg is taking the ACT AGAIN tomorrow! She got a 27 last time, which was OUTTA this WORLD! and is trying it again. Hoping for just a little bit better and it's AOK if she doesn't get it too! But PLEASE! Send up a prayer for her! Ry is camping overnight at the Minidoka Dam! It's raining and he insisted on taking a 'flat camp'. I'm only the mother. He said that is redneck terms for sleepin in a tarp. I'm not sure about him....Maddy is usually a Kloepfer on the weekends. Wes went back to work tonight. He took two weeks ago Wednesday and Thursday off - because he was sickernadog - had his 7 days off - SICK - is taking tomorrow night off and leaving for Maryland Sunday morning at 4:00 a.m. for a Union meeting. We live in crazy world. Welcome to it.

Okay.
Well, just so everyone knows, still no baby here. I will be induced at 5:30 am on Wednesday the 21st. I would like to go before that, but we will see how baby co-operates with with what I want! I went to the Health food store and bought some Red Raspberry Leaf Herbal tea that is supposed to help, along with some other all natural remedies. I guess baby is just too comfy. Can't say that I blame him though, I try to keep things pretty cozy, or something like that! Hopefully there will be better news to share soon. And a name, that would be great. Kristen

Grandma Draper
This is to let you all know that Grandma Draper is having quite a difficult time because not many of her grandkids call or visit her. I know that life is busy, but like her Grandpa Anderson told her "she's not going to be around forever." I am having a hard time convincing her that she is loved so if you all could help me out here and let her know she is important to all of us and that we do love her, I would really appreciate it!! A big thank you for your help!!!! And don't let her know that I have enlisted your help. K? Love to all of you!!
