Apparently New Years in Germany is bigger than our 4th of July. We had been hearing fire crackers all day but about 10 till midnight we started hearing a lot of them so we decided to go out on our porch and look and this is what was going on. This is our neighbors letting off fireworks. The whole village was doing it. It was so beautiful and the best part was I didn't even have to get out of my pj's to see it! I hope you all are having a wonderful and safe new year! We miss you!!!!!!!

Paris
Our trip was amazing! We had so much fun and took so many pictures. I tried to pick the best to put on here and I apologize for how long this post is. We waited in line for an hour and a half to go up the Eiffel Tower but it was so worth it. I'm glad Josh forced me cause I didn't want to wait! The city is so beautiful. It's cool to look at all the buildings and know they were built hundreds of years ago. The louvre was awesome too. All the paintings were beautiful. I was so happy that the Christmas lights were still up in the city. I hope you enjoy the pics! Our Hotel the halls were so small Josh could barely fit with his HUGE MUSCLES! Dinner our dinner entertainment Some of the Beautiful buildings We were gonna ask how they kept their grass so green in the winter so Randy wouldn't be jealous but we didn't know who to ask. We loved the metro system. We went everywhere I found the Harley Shop The Louvre The Mona Lisa The Seine River Notre Dame Quazo Moto and I The Eiffel tower was so beautiful at night It was so cold waiting in line the top of the Eiffel tower Don't jump Josh!!!!!! Merry Christmas!
This has been a very nice Christmas! Thank you everyone for just being who you are and thank you also for the nice Christmas gifts. Dad and I are excited about the picture frame and look forward to learning how to use it and to put tons of pictures on it! What a great way to show off my family when people are in my home without even having to pull out picture albums!! Of course, you all know how very proud of our family dad and I are, besides all of you are so photogenic and just the greatest looking family ever! Thank you for the pictures already entered in it. It is fun to sit and look at all your cute mugs! And thank you Tyson & Carrie for the boot dryer for dad (I can tell you it is going to get some heavy duty use around here right now with all the snow!) and also for the cute (& cuddly) robe and slippers! And also to Mandy & James for the cute PJ's for me ( they know I have been spending more time in my PJ's lately than usual ) and also, for the nice shirt for Randy!! And a big thank you to Maryssa for the cute "rag tree" she made for us. It is really cute and I can tell she had a good time making it! Dad has also been spending more time in PJ's lately, not really pj's, but the pj-type bottoms. I have to tell a funny story about him going to Smith's on Wed. to pick up my prescription. He has these flannel pj bottoms with polar bears on them and that was what he wore to get my Rx at Smith's. Some guy that knows him took his picture and said nobody will believe this is his tireman. Dad got a kick out of it. Anyway, back to my thank you's-----thank you to Kristen & Callin for the bag for me and for the stuff for his reloading tumbler. We got dad a reloader kit and a tumbler for his birthday and Christmas, so Callin said he would need this stuff to put in his tumbler and that's what it is, (I forgot what it's called). One of these days dad is going to be able to set up all his nice re-loading stuff and just re-load all kinds of shells. It will be a great hobby for him to have! Kristen has been creating up a storm lately and one of the things she likes to create are bags, and she made me the cutest bag!!! Bags are like shoes, you can never have enough!! Also, thank you Josh and Natalie for the Christmas decoration and the WillowTree statue. I love them!!Sooooo, the down part of our day today was that Jer and Robyn got snowed in out to her parents. We missed them at dinner and hope they will be dug out tomorrow. This kind of weather always make me think of the pioneers and the hardships they had to put up with and the cold was definitely a very harsh hardship. How very grateful I am for warm clothes to wrap up in and a warm home to protect me from the elements. We are so blessed and I thank our Father in Heaven for sending us to earth to be together as a family. And to think there is another little spirit that is about to be born is another great blessing to our family!! You are in our prayers Carrie & Tyson that all will be well with all of you!Dad & I are healing well. I am wondering at this point when I will get some stamina back? I kind of feel like I have been wrung thru a wringer. Well, love to each and everyone of you!! I am glad we have this blog so it doesn't seem like Josh and Natalie are quite so far away and for sharing all of their adventures with us!!Thank you, thank you!! Keep it up! Love you, MOM & DAD
